These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Isla May Evergreen, operated by Louise Mason as a sole trader.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Placing an order

All orders begin with an enquiry via email. An order is confirmed once:

  • You have approved the brief and agreed to the price quoted
  • A retainer fee or full payment has been received (as agreed)

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

2. Pricing

All prices are as quoted at the time of your order. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

A retainer fee applies to all personalised stationery orders (excluding digital-only suites). This fee ensures your slot is booked and is non refundable once design work has commenced.

Minimum order values apply and are shown on each pricing pages. Digital-only suites are priced separately as stated on our pricing pages

3. Design process and proofs

  • We will provide digital proofs for your review before any printing takes place.
  • You are responsible for checking all wording, spellings, dates, and details carefully.
  • We accept no responsibility for errors approved by the client.
  • Up to two rounds of amendments are included in your design fee. Additional amendments may be charged at £10 per round.

4. Photos and images

  • If you supply photographs or images for use in your stationery, you confirm that you have the right to use them and grant us permission to reproduce them for your order.
  • We require high-resolution images. We cannot guarantee print quality for low-resolution images and will advise you if a supplied image is unsuitable.
  • We may make minor edits or upscaling adjustments to images to improve print quality. We will not make significant alterations without your consent.
  • Please note that printed images may appear less sharp than they do on screen; this is normal and not a defect.

5. Printing and production

  • Standard orders are fulfilled using 300gsm white card stock unless otherwise specified.
  • Bookmarks are printed on 450gsm card stock.
  • Specialist finishes (such as foiling or white ink) are produced via our trusted print partners and may have longer lead times.
  • We will always advise you of expected turnaround times at the point of order.

6. Delivery and digital files

  • Physical orders are dispatched via Royal Mail or Parcelforce and are sent to the address you provide. We are not responsible for delays or losses once an order has been handed to the courier.
  • Digital orders are delivered via email or a secure file-sharing link once final payment has been received.
  • We retain design files for 30 days after delivery. Requests for reprints or file resends after this period may incur an additional fee.

7. Payment

  • Payment terms will be confirmed in your quote. We typically require a 30% retainer fee before design work begins and full payment, apart from the postage costs, before printing or final file delivery.
  • Postage will be invoiced when we have completed printing and we can accurately price your cost.
  • We accept payment via Bank Transfer or Paypal
  • Late payment may result in delays to your order.

9. Intellectual property

All original designs created by Isla May Evergreen remain our intellectual property. You are licensed to use the final files for personal use only. Designs may not be resold, altered, or used commercially without our written consent.

Template designs sourced from third-party designers are subject to the original designer’s licence terms.

10. Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the value of your order. We are not liable for indirect losses, including consequential damages arising from delays or errors outside our control.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
