Your Journey to Beautiful Stationery

Planning a celebration should be exciting, not stressful. My process is designed to be straightforward from start to finish – you tell me what you need, choose your design, and I take care of everything else. Here’s exactly what to expect from the moment you get in touch.

Step 1 – Enquiry

  • Fill in the enquiry form on the relevant event page with your details, event date, and the design you have in mind. I’ll come back to you within 2 working days to confirm availability, answer any questions, and put together your quote.
  • If you’d like a fully custom design built from your own inspiration rather than one of my existing templates, just mention it at this stage. Custom design work is available at an additional cost, and I’ll include this in your quote.

Step 2- Booking & Deposit

  • Once you’re happy with the quote, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and begin the design work. I’ll send your invoice via email, and work begins once payment has cleared.
  • Please make sure you have all your wording, names, dates, and venue details ready at this point – the sooner I have everything I need, the sooner I can get started.

Step 3- Your Proof

  • You’ll receive a digital proof within 2 working days of your deposit clearing and all details being confirmed. This is your opportunity to check everything carefully — names, dates, wording, and layout.
  • Two rounds of amendments are included as standard. Any changes beyond this may be subject to an additional fee. Once you’re happy, I’ll ask for your written approval before anything goes to print.

Step 4 – Final Payment

Once your proof is approved, your remaining balance is due before printing begins. I’ll send your final invoice at this stage.

Step 5 – Printing & Dispatch

Your stationery is printed on premium 300gsm card and carefully packaged. Orders are dispatched within 7 working days of final payment clearing, via tracked Royal Mail or courier so you can follow it every step of the way.

If you’ve ordered digital files only, these will be sent to your email once final payment has cleared.

Changes To Your Event

I understand that sometimes plans change. To ensure I can still accommodate your bespoke order, the following terms apply to date changes:

  • Date Changes: If your event date changes, please notify me immediately. Whilst I will do our best to move your booking, my availability is not guaranteed for new dates. If your stationery has already been printed with the original date, a reprint will be required and charged at the standard rate for the items affected.
  • Cancellations: If you cancel before printing has started, your 50% deposit is non-refundable as it covers the design work and administration completed up to that point. Once final payment has been made and you have given written proof approval, your order enters production and no cancellations or refunds can be accepted.
  • Reprints: Printing small quantities after your original order — for example, if you need a few extra invitations — is significantly more expensive per item than ordering in bulk. I always recommend ordering around 10% more than you need to avoid this

Closing note

  • Have a question before you enquire? No problem – drop me a message and I’ll be happy to help.

Materials

  • My standard pricing is based on a premium 300gsm smooth white cardstock. Specialty finishes- such as foiling- and alternative card colours or weights are available for an additional fee and will be clearly itemised on your quote.

Photographs & Images

  • I can incorporate your personal photos and high-resolution images into your designs. Please ensure all supplied files are high-resolution and that you have received explicit permission from the original photographer or creator

Licensing & Copyright Restrictions

  • To respect international copyright laws, I cannot use images found on Google, nor can I incorporate licensed characters (such as superheroes or cartoons) into my work.

  • All designs are protected by Copyright and remain the property of the designer. They may not be reproduced, resold, or used commercially. We retain all Moral Rights to our artwork; please ensure Isla May Evergreen is credited in any social media, online, or print photography featuring our work

Care of Signage

  • Prior to your event, all stationery and signs should be stored in a dry, flat, and cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading.
  • Foamcore is a lightweight but delicate material that can be easily dented or damaged if dropped or bumped.
  • Once your order has been delivered or collected, I am not responsible for any accidental or consequential damage, breakages, or wear and tear
