About Isla May Evergreen
The name
Isla May Evergreen was born from three things that matter most to me.
Isla is my daughter’s middle name. May was my grandmother. And Evergreen – because the moments these pieces of stationery mark don’t fade. A wedding invitation kept in a drawer for forty years. An order of service that still sits on a shelf. A baby shower keepsake passed down to the child it celebrated. These events stay with us forever. That’s the heart of everything I make.
A Little about Me
I’m Louise – a wife, mum, and nana, based in the UK. I’ve loved graphic design for as long as I can remember, and over the years friends and family kept asking me to design their stationery for funerals, celebrations, and the moments in between. I always said yes, and I always meant it. Every time, it felt like a privilege.
After completing a design course and finding myself at a turning point in my working life, I decided to do what I’d been doing informally for years. I already run a small business creating cards and printed goods, and Isla May Evergreen grew from that same love of making something beautiful and meaningful for someone else’s special occasion.
One of our two cockapoos is usually sitting on my feet while I work. I consider this quality control.
What I do
Isla May Evergreen offers semi-bespoke event stationery -beautifully designed pieces that are fully personalised to you, without the price tag of fully custom work.
Here’s how it works: you choose from our design collection, and I personalise everything – the wording, the colours, the layout, to make it yours.
If you have your own inspiration or something completely unique in mind, I am happy to work from your ideas too
The main events catered for are Weddings, Funerals, Baby Shower and Anniversaries, but I can also work with you for Bridal Showers, Retirements and Engagements.
I also offer a Vinyl Signage service – I design and cut your lettering and send it to you ready to apply. Perfect for mirrors, champagne glasses etc.
Why Semi bespoke?
Not everyone has the time, the software, or the creative confidence to DIY their stationery. And not everyone needs (or wants) to pay for a fully bespoke service built from scratch. Semi bespoke sits in the middle – and that’s exactly where I want to be. You get stationery that looks and feels personal, because it is personal. It just starts from a beautiful foundation rather than a blank page.
